Hey guys
Got a POD BASS XTL and want to record both the affected signal with Amp Modelling on it AND the DI sound simultaneously with Nuendo 3 and an M Audiophile 2496 soundcard. I can't seem to do it! Anyone know how to do this? My mixer had inputs for two instruments but unless I record the signals onto the same track I get no joy!

Dunno weather the POD can output both processed and unprocessed simultaneously, but presuming it cannot:
1: Split the guitar signal before it goes into the POD with a simple headphone splitter adapter, or use your mixer for that. Use a direct-out, insert or aux-send for that.
2: Pan the clean guitar all the way to the left on the mixer
3: Pan the POD output all the way to the right on the mixer. (yes, you record it mono this way so apply stereo effects later)
4: Record mixer output, and use your host to split the stereo track in two mono's.
