PDC and Triggers/Samplers

I'm a bit confused. Should not a host, supporting PDC, such as Tracktion or SX, realign tracks for them to play in sync when a VST is loaded within them ?

I use the KT dum trigger, within tracktion 1.6.

My kik drum audio track has the following inserts :

EQ -> KTtrigger -> Sampler -> EQ/compressor.

My reluting kik drum is now totally out of sync with the rest of the drum mix. I have to bounce and reallign manually.

Same issue with SX. Except for the KT triggers a midi channel, which is routed to the VSTi rack. But SX claims full PDC.

Is this cause KT does not register the correct built in plug latency with the host ? What would my best workaround be ?

p.s. my kik drum samples (loaded into the sampler) are accurately trimmed.
