There's been some discussion here about a 'guitar strum library'. Is this library available for sale anywhere?

There's guitar strums on Modern Songwriter on www.esoundz.com but that is an Akai library. We DO have a couple of Rhythm Guitar libraries coming out in the next couple of months. However, if you want some nice interactive acoustic strumming there is some on an upcoming Infinite Instrument series title. That one requires streaming samplers like Kontakt or others.

Thanks, Squids. BTW - I have ST21XL and the Acoustic Guitars Capsule, so I hesitate now to purchase Modern Songwriter. Can you educate a way to 'construct' up/down guitar strums using SR products I aleady have?

There are two "dimensions" to getting good midi guitar strums - the guitar voicing and the strum pattern/timing. I think I did a longer post here on the topic a while back. I'll see if I can dig it up.
