I don't think it's new. I believe it's a Linux DAW that has been around for some time. You might be interested in looking at LMMS if you want to see something sorta new and interesting. It claims to be a FLStudio clone (to some degree).

I don't see how they could claim to be an FL clone if they don't host VST's. I'm going to say it now, the first linux host that supports VSTs and has a decent mixer (with more routing options than just a couple of sends) gets my undying support.

Ardour supports the VST plugins format as well.

this is the thing about Linux.
There's no one good looking sequencer, say, like sonar. :hihi:
