I read a review somewhere that said you can use the CE2K help file and examples. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet it might be great. I wonder where they got the code?

It does look cool but I think it may be a bit sluggish. It may not be CE code. It seems to work ok though and it's free with a $40 video editor or $20 bucks depending on how you look at it.BONES wrote:Looks kinda cool.
Sure. I still haven't spent time with the video editor._oswald wrote:Thank you, this may be just what I was looking for to do some very, very basic video work.
Direct x support yes, vst I dont think it does when I checked it - also noticed 24 bit waves were not displaying in the wave window, I assume it supports 24 bit - that was when I uninstalled it as I dont need a wave editor - more interested in the video aspects, but it was too basic for its own good - I can see a market for it though within places like snapfiles.com etc.tomg wrote:It even has VST support. What about that?
Under the DirectX menu is/was a VST item that listed a bunch of my VSTs. I deleted it along with the video editor or I would look. I'm still looking for a video editor that works for about $100. Vegas is out of my price range. I've seen a lot of stuff and nothing makes me happy.SampleStream wrote:Direct x support yes, vst I dont think it does when I checked it - also noticed 24 bit waves were not displaying in the wave window, I assume it supports 24 bit - that was when I uninstalled it as I dont need a wave editor - more interested in the video aspects, but it was too basic for its own good - I can see a market for it though within places like snapfiles.com etc.tomg wrote:It even has VST support. Thanks for the tip I found Sony Vegas Movie Studio + DVD for about $80. I'm hopeful again.SampleStream wrote:Thanks for the link, I checked out the demo - it is very basic and really is a - post the vid clips together app made easy via drag and drop – I think for video the Vegas home studio is more complete in this price range.
However the addition of the audio editor makes it an interesting alternative to some wave editing proggys, I think the strength of the bundle is in the wave program for those on a budget.
It’s possible to pick up Vegas Movie Studio + DVD Platinum edition for $109 (it should discount when you go to purchase – its marked up at $129)tomg wrote:

Vegas Movie Studio 6 is what you need I think_oswald wrote:Thank you, this may be just what I was looking for to do some very, very basic video work.
They had to made a deal with Syntrillium to use a version... Let's call it CE-SE. Limited but still CE. I can't believe that somebody would or could clone CE that closely. The more I think about it that's got to be it. I'm intrigued by the puzzle. I've got Audition so it's not for me but someone might think that's a fair price to pay for what it does. The next stop is $300.bambooman wrote:@tom,
