Are my eyes deceiving me?! AutoTune for VST is out!

For almost 2 years, I've been waiting for AutoTune VST to come out. Why? Because the MIDI-input on the DX version just doesn't work if you don't have a dual-host audio-card. (i.e. no way in Sonar to send the pitch-corrections to AutoTune using MIDI, instead of using their graphical editor).
FINALLY!!!! WOOHOO!! It's here!!!

I recommend you check out the GSnap tuner, it's free and has no trouble with using MIDI-input.

Yes it was, but the producer who did the song omitted mentioning it in an interview and sucessfully duped thousands of people into thinking he didn't use it, when it was really, really obvious that's what was used.

i think i may be right in saying it wasnt auto tune that was used in that instance,if i remember right it was a digitech hardware effect thats no longer produced.not that it really matters cause it does sound like auto tune

Please post your example of the digitech processor doing this in 1998, thanks!tangentmusic wrote:i think i may be right in saying it wasnt auto tune that was used in that instance,if i remember right it was a digitech hardware effect thats no longer produced.not that it really matters cause it does sound like auto tune
(I know you can't, much like all the other newbies who claim this and many other weird ideas)
...wherareas anyone can download auto-tune and make the effect happen on any audio track in about 3 seconds by turning "Retune speed" to 0.

I agree 100% - the dev is a contributor here, and has been AMAZING when it comes to getting this FREE plug to work well - it's fantastic now!Eric Bourne wrote:I recommend you check out the GSnap tuner, it's free and has no trouble with using MIDI-input.
