Has anybody figured out how to use the VST conversion thingy in the new ESC 3?
There's no manual, and so far I can only convert one - and only one - patch - and the same one at that - from a VST to a format, although it appears to be translating all patches.
What am I missing here?
Thanks.

I don't know the answer, but are you using the demo or did you buy the program?

I bought the program, and am quite happy with the sample conversion aspect. The problem with the VST converter is that if a VST depends on a wrapper from a host for program/bank changes, you can only convert the default patch.
I've brought this up to the developer, but I'm not sure I've made the problem clear.
In any case, I highly recommend the product.
Thanks for the reply.

EXSC version 3.01 is just out that fixes some things about sampling a VST, but I don't know if it addresses the "host preset selection" issue.
I don't have an issue with it because my preferred VSTI almost all have their own preset selection capability (and I haven't yet had to sample a VSTI for performance or other reasons - but no doubt I will sooner or later).
If I hit this problem, I think the first thing I'd try is EnergyXT.

Thanks, guys.
Yep, eXT or Chainer would be the answer for the wrapper, but I should think it would be easy enough to add one in ESC.
