Thought I'd ask this here in case it was a quick fix....
Whenever I use a patch that uses stretch or try to apply stretch to one that doesn't, it just hangs at the very end of pre-analysis and I have to force quit (sometimes when I try to cancel it just tries again...and again...)
This happens whether I'm using it as a VST or Standalone. I don't have this problem in Miro...
Has anyone else experienced this or know anything about it?
If not, I'll ask IK support but thought someone might know what could fix it...I'm pretty sure this is the latest and greatest version...
Thanks!

Just make sure (via Mac OSX File>Info) that the ST 2.1 Instruments folder (or its subfolders) have not been installed as "Read Only". (The same thing happened to me when I installed SS2, but I haven't had any problems since.. but I always check the read staus of any installed folders now!)
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

Thanks...I looked and they are all read/write...I was hoping it was that ssimplevic_france wrote:Just make sure (via Mac OSX File>Info) that the ST 2.1 Instruments folder (or its subfolders) have not been installed as "Read Only". Please post back when you get a reply from IK.. I'd be really interested to know. Do none of the instruments get succesfully processed, or is it just the ones from ST 2.1? (If you can find one instrument that works ok, temporarily move a non-working instrument to the same subfolder as the one that works, rescan and try again. If it works this time, then there's something wrong with the read/write permissions of the original folder).
On the other hand, the failure of the Preanalysis dialog to Cancel (where it keeps on retrying) is a bug since ST 2.0.

Will do...
Nothing loads that's already stretched....and I can't stretch anything....I'm pretty much dead in the water after the preanalysis dialog comes up.
I haven't heard anyon else taking about this problem so I think I'll try reinstalling ....maybe something strange happened then...

I'm wondering why the multi-out doesn't work (yet) in Logic?? Since that was supposed to be fixed in this update! Still doesn't show up as a multi...

Hey buddy did you ever fix this problem?
I had the same issues with 10.4.5 and Logic Pro 7.2
I think it actually IS the file permissions because it solved the problem for me.
Go to the place where samples and instruments are stored, i believe it is called Instruments somwhere in the /Library/Application Suupport/....Should be easy to find with some searching but I'm away from my studio mac
Anyways, once you find the main instruments folder, get info. Then go to permissions detail and ensure you are the owner, if not click on the lock and authenicate and change every permission to read/write. Important next step: Click "apply to enclosed items" I have a feeling you missed this step before.
My problem is fixed, yours should be as well!

In the sampletank prefs, is there more than "1/2" selected for the output?DHR53 wrote:I'm wondering why the multi-out doesn't work (yet) in Logic?? Since that was supposed to be fixed in this update! Still doesn't show up as a multi...
Also, did you select the Multi-Channel version of the plugin? The input is supposed to be available to an Aux object much like ultrabeat and exs24.
I will test this when I get the chance, but thats how it is supposed to be done.
