Nice stuff you make. Only 14 ? I think some people will be happy to know you may not work yet ! You'd give them a hell of a competition !

BTW, thecontrolcentre has very useful samples !

Don't get caught up in the hype though, plus all the kits who claim they sound like timbaland kits, etc, don't sound anything like them to be honest.

The very idea of having a "timbaland" etc kit is laughable in my opinion, isn't it all about the sequencing (or 90 percent of it) ?
Give Timbaland/Missy Elliot/latest hype producer any LM9 demo kit, they'll still imprint their signature sound on it...

As far as i'm aware timbaland is well known fo rcreating his own percussion, but dre and kanye just use drum machines and layer and shit. The whole "timbaland kit, Kanye kit" is more of a marketing scheme than anything, but I must admit it is a smart one cause every other dude wants to sound like timbaland or dre of course.

I don't agree 90% of it is in the sequencing. Last night I chopped up a demo loop that sounded great, and it was the best kick I ever heard. It was like "Eureka"... so that's what it sounds like when there is a half-decent kick in my sampler (Battery).. It makes all the difference... However, the beat I cut up still had some hats over the kick.. couldn't get rid of them, very annoying.. So I went looking from some free single hit kicks on the net.. But NONE of them came even CLOSE to the kick from the loop.. Who knows where to get some GREAT quality Electronic SINGLE hits? I can program loops, but I am very tired of trying to do the impossible and make shite samples sound good.
