Is there a MIDI effect that can do this??

I recently test drove a Korg PadKontrol and you could turn on the roll function then move your finger from right to left on the pad while hitting a percussion pad and have complete tempo synched control over a roll, it would get faster as you moved to the right.
I'm thinking there is a midi effect already that can do this too, just assign the speed to mod wheels or x-y pad of some sort.
Does this make since?
Thanks! Riley

Id like one too, just been using the audio equivelant like scusphut and other buffer effects.....

might be possible with this

if you just use the first tap time and set it up to be automated via youre preferred hardware controller...

That looks like it may work, I'll try it after I get my new Axiom 49. I have sold my PCR30 and don't have a keyboard with pitch bend or madultaion wheels right now.VariKusBrainZ wrote:might be possible with this

I'm thinking that it may be possible with some programming with a Arpeggiator like in Live and Project 5, or use the Formula controller and xy controller in FL6.
FL6 is deeeeeeeeep stuff.

Here is a succint explanation of how it works.
So, Is there any FL6 formula experts that want to tackle this?
I'll post on the FL forum too.

It would be cool to use either a x-y pad or pitch and mod wheel. The X-Y pad adds real-time control of both flam and roll timing and dynamics. Moving from left to right increases the speed of the roll, or the distance between the "flammed" notes. Moving up increase the volume of the roll, or the second note in the flam. This is a highly expressive and intuitive way to produce these natural drum techniques. With an optional footswitch, you can even add real "kick" drum parts, or close a open hi-hat.

having a midi equivalent to WNA's memory would be so much fun it would probably be illegal in several counties...countries evenVariKusBrainZ wrote:Id like one too, just been using the audio equivelant like scusphut and other buffer effects.....

is it possible to control note data with the fruity formula controller ??
actually this roll function would be an obvious feature request for the Fuity FPC drum module! ! !
