I'd have a look at Ozone for an all in one mastering solution, it's certainly worth giving it a test run.
When you say master reverb do you mean a mastering reverb, because ozone has that built in, if you mean a main reverb try the Arts Acoustic Reverb - I haven't heard a bad word said about it.

I'm definately no golden ears - but the AA is the only reverb out at the moment that i'm even considering purchasing.
That would make it the single most expensive plug in i'd bought - but I believe it's worth it.
Ozone is a very good all in one mastering solution, but have alook at Voxengo's plugins also, they are consistently rated for quality.
The elephant mastering limiter is top notch & the soniformer multiband compressor is rated by everyone who uses it, the marquis compressor is another that people whose opinion I value rave about also.

oh AA - the arts acoustic reverb, link in my first post.

Not being funny but I think you will struggle with finding a native replacement for VSS3(or DVR2 or NonLin)that meets the same sort of standard.
I must admit though that I've not tried the AA reverb or the new IK Multimedia verb which is getting some good feedback here.
Good luck and are you selling your Powercore ?
I don't have anything against gravity but it really does weigh me down

I cannot comment on the AA Reverb but the CSR reverb is very good plus you are getting a 4 in 1 deal with hall, room, plate and inverse plugs. Although, it does come with a dongle so that may put you off.

I have the VSS3 and the AA, and can tell you that you will be surprised by the AA. I use it a lot. Very lush etc. try the demo. No realy you should just get it.

EJo,
I'm exactly in the same situation as you are, the PoCo Element just doesn't work in my X2.
Shame on TC for the crappiest support this side of the Mississippi. If the upcoming 2.0 driver is not 100% stable on X2, the PoCo is on Ebay and TC will never ever see a cent from me again.
I only use the reverbs anyway, so I'll get me a nice reverb plugin for the Lexicon hall stuff and FX Teleport for the PoCo money.
For small rooms and ambience I get along quite well with Dreamverb and Realverb and the Plate 140 is just wonderful for that plate sound. A little tweaking goes a long way with these, forget the presets.
As far as mastering goes, the Precision Limiter gives me all I need, in fact it ends up on groups a lot, too. No multiband, though (haven't tried the new UA multiband yet since I don't really need one atm).
By all means please post if you found good replacements, I'll do the same.
Cheers, susiwong

PS: CSR looks nice, but it won't work with FXT so it's out. With a NI protection scheme (2 machines at the same time) it would possibly be my first choice.

There's a decent chance that your powercore not working is just a BIOS issue, or perhaps some kind of driver conflict. If you give your specs we might be able to help you get it running without any new hardware. That would be the best solution, I think. It's worth a shot, no?
