Heard many great things about Energy XT

Many people rave about Energy XT. How does it compare to big name hosts? I'm a current Cubase user. Also what is a modular environment host?

Well it kinda works like audiomulch but is more flexible cause of the internal midi editor etc and the capability to be a VST plugin.. I use XT as a midi recorder and it works great for me.. basically modular means you can route VST plugins and VSTi's freely, making it pretty much customisable.. I've never like Cubase's automation features (not to sure about sx3).. XT is a perfect compliment to cubase..
