I've found these bugs from trying to use XT as a freezer plug inside renoise:

Firstly:

- Load XT VSTi into renoise
- Add a sequencer
- Open the sequencer (undocked) and add an envelope track
- Now press Ctrl and you will get an Exception EaccessViolation message coming up.

Secondly:

When using an envelope track and using tempo changes to create a groove, rendering has problems. i.e. as an example use a change the tempo from 130 to 155 every two notes (16th notes in this case), then freeze your sequence, there is a sort of popping to the sound of the rendered file where the tempo changes occur. This is using straight-line envelopes, not ramps.

The FR that would make the whole process a lot easier is:

To be being able to record tempo changes from the host XT VST is in. i.e. just press record while envelope is hi-lighted and a tempo envelope track is drawn (unless I have missed something and its already possible?).

Another related bug is:

If a groove is created by these quick tempo chnges in renoise, then you record from renoise into XT VST the playback of the recorded wav can sometimes be wrong.

i.e. the playback will be from the wrong position. This is not the case when playback is from the beggining of the song but tends to happen when playback is started further on in the song.
