I just upgraded to a new chip in my DAW, the old one burned out,
So right away i had to reinstall my main host Sonar and project 5.
Ok all good so i also have lots of pro vsts to reinstall as well but i put it off for the time being, So here I am with Sonar installed and all of a sudden a beat pops into my head.
I never ever just tried to make a beat with just Sonars library , cause I thought of it as just a afterthought, something to fatten up there package, Well let me be the first or second person to tell you, what Sonar includes in there Pro setup is mind blowing good.
Take the new groove thingy by roland for instance, I have Reaktor, I have hypersonic, I have Virsyntera2 but....
Sonars Roland Groove synth is clean clean clean, for just making traditional sounds, it suprised the hell out of me.
Also the new PSYN 2 is very good at making analog, move over to the effects that come with project 5 and i found that there effects are better than Waves, Voxengo or anything else I have bought in the past 2 years.
My point is I cant belive how good the stuff is that comes with Sonar, now dont get me wrong im still gonna reinstall the rest of my DAW but Sonar on its own is no joke indeed. and trully a complete studio workstation without walls.
