Hello,
I'm getting a new computer soon, and would like to stick with VST/32 5.1. Does anyone know if I'll be able to use the same printer port dongle, or will I have to upgrade to a USB dongle from steiny??
Can i use my printer dongle for vst 5.1 on a new computer

IF the computer has a parallel port,l then I can't think of a reason it will not work on a new computer.
I transferred my licence to one of my USB dongles, as that made life easier, few PC's seem to bother with parallel ports now.

I guess if I make sure the mobo has a parallel port I should be ok.Bas wrote:IF the computer has a parallel port,l then I can't think of a reason it will not work on a new computer.

I was concerned that XP wouldn't support the dongle on the parallel port.
I wasn't aware you could transfer licenses from VST to the USB dongle.
