i have reason 3.0 and fl studio 6.0 xxl edition and rewired i want to know if you can get instruments from reason 3.0 and use them in fl studio in any way....sorry im new to this rewired thing

Post

rewire is the only way ..

basically, add an instance of "ReWired" to the Step Sequencer, set it to Reason, open up Reason, add devices, then you need to have a MIDI Out device set to the correct MIDI channel, which you can check inside the ReWired channel settings.

Its not that easy in FL, which is a shame ... its much easier in other hosts like Sonar or Live.

Post

ReWired channel settings? wheres that in fl studio or reason 3.0 and where in them? sorry man im real new to this

Post

thats in FL Studio, basically when you add the "ReWired" thing in FL, then click on it.

Post

k but how do i find out the midi channel in reason
thanks

Post

I believe theres a button called something like "Ports" or "Port Settings" or something, theres a list of stuff there (In the ReWired Channel page again)

Yeah, Rewire implementation in FL Studio is a pain in the ass.
