I have tracktion, but it lags sometimes. I record an audio track, then another over it and they don't sync. ACID 2.0 syncs them fine.

I have a crappy AC97 codec motherboard audio. Is it my soundcard?

The rest of my system should be fine: Athlon XP1900+ 512 ram, 120 gig 7200rpm, etc.

Are you using the Asio4All drivers? Try them and see if that helps.

Did you run the tracktion latency analysis in the audio setup?
