Anyone have a hard time with TriTone's new copy protection?

I put the response code .txt file on my drive and navigated to it using ValveTone 62's dialog to open response file, then "opened" it (though this is a little weird since it isn't a keyfile). Nothing happened, and the beeping continued. I know it's the code he sent me, I just copied the text file he sent.
