FL as a VSTi in Acid 5

Does anyone know how to get FL to properly work as a VSTi in Acid 5. I can get it to work but the FL audio doesn't start until a measure later. Does anyone know how to make the FL audio start as soon as you hit play in Acid or is that not how it is suppose to work? THanks.
