hey guys.i was wondering if i should buy fruityloops 6,but after using the demo with some vst synths there is nothing but crackling noises when i press a key.never had that problem with other versions of fruityloops.is their a simple solution or is it the new fruityloops?

are you using ASIO driver? have you enabled high priority playback? read the helpfile -- the answers are in there.

1. Increase buffer length in Options>Audio Settings.

2. If you are not already using one, switch to an ASIO driver. Use the one which came with your soundcard or go to www.asio4all.com and download ASIO4ALL v2.6. Install and choose that ASIO driver from the dropdown list in Options>Audio Settings in FL.

and make sure you have the latest version 6.0.8 of Fruity.

Apart from added features and plugins, only difference I found is , it consumes more CPU than ever. Quite a show stopper for me but I think it is discussed in good length here already.

The last good version of FL was 5.02

Don't forget that you can use the "Smart Disable" feature in the FX slots. So CPU usage can potentially decrease in projects if you find yourself needing some extra CPU headroom.

fls6 is awesome. I just got the new fls bible and in the coming soon picture, it only looks like its goin to get better and better.

Hmmm... I wonder if the recorder is "Edison"? Any way you can scan and post the pictures?
