I own the original, and one nice thing about having it that I didn't foresee when I got it is the educational value--I've learned a lot about various filters just from trying out the presets and seeing what each parameter does. Also, it showed me sounds I never would have hit on by myself, so it is inspirational as well. Money well spent, in my case.
