Slice triggering

Can the slices be triggered by a midi controller to appear in the arrangements window?

you mean like recording right?
This is not currently possible, but actually I thought about it the other day and it'll be in one of the next two updates. I've been using individual slice triggering quite a bit recently and it's could be so useful to be able to record.
+ it will enable you to record existing midi tracks to liveslice arrangements. (not as cool as midi file import, but close)
I'm thinking it should be possible to record mutes and randomizations as well (mute while recording will set the volume of the slices being played to zero)
it should be possible to record the midi envelopes too via cc's
