aiff sample loading to sampler for looping and editing????

Hi, i have a small problem in regards to some samples i want to use on a sampler. basically i wanted to load few samples in aiff. format into dr-rex as rex files. I hoped that recycle would allow me to do this but i cannot find an export option to .rex files. I assume that rex files are a close system so i was wondering if there is any other way to import my aiff samples into any sampler that would allow me to do similar task like with dr-rex.
is there any such application that would allow me to do this easily and effectively?
vst? rtas? both welcome as use protools, fl studio and reason amongst some vst.
