Hi there

A beginner to EQing in general, I was wondering whether or not the BEST sound derived from EQing can be produced through simply using the track EQ's in Nuendo or whether a PLUGIN would give warmer and better results.
If so, which PLUGIN would be THE BEST??!!

Eg Waves, URS, SSL etc...

PLEASE HELP!!!

FYI I will be using it on vocals, guitars, BFD Deluxe drum mics and bass , Eastwest Orchestra etc.

There is no single "best" EQ. Some don't color the music much, some do in a possibly useful way, some work better with one kind of material than the other..

Try downloading some free ones and experimenting. You'll never learn anything if all you do is ask other people what to do.

i personally use glissEQ and also many ascribe to the free "poshifohpit"

I'll second posifohpit, for a free eq - outstanding (sahme the commercial version electri-Q has problems in Ableton Live).

now hold on a second... this guy is definately a freaking warez- look at all those products he "bought".... unless hes got a lot of money out there and zero time to check out what "the best" is...
