Hi guys, i'm searching a bass distortion vst plugin .
Something like bass Zoom pedal or Ibanez but in software way.
There is any very good plugin for bass distortion?

Thanks and have a nice day :help:

The Simulanalog suite will cover your needs.

If you want to spend money then you will not find better than Izotope's Trash.

Has anyone tried modelling a Pro-Co Rat anywhere (maybe AT2, or GR2)? As far as stomp boxes go I know quite a few people (myself included) who consider that guitar stomp box to be the bass distortion of choice.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

if you'll pardon the self promotion, check out my effect metallurgy too. i had bass and drums in mind when i was making the distortion. here's an mp3 that shows one of the bass distortion presets.

metallurgy-groove-demo-1.mp3
the first time through is dry, the second time has got a seperate instance of metallurgy on each part.

also check out the free fuzzplus 2 by audio damage.

This is a rather good stomp box simulator. With Blockfish (which has saturation as well as compression) and some sort of eq (like classic eq) and Boogex for speaker simulation you can create a decent and flexible bassguitar channel strip for free.

I just downloaded it ugo, usually I'm not a big fan of distortion on bass (but then this time it will be you playing which will likely make a huge difference...;)). I like bass guitar to be clean and powerful...you know that sound where you can really hear the round wounds and it's just so crisp and punchy? But I constantly change "rules", so I'll listen to it tonight and get back to you...
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

i typically go for the bright, clean powerfull tone too. (DR roundwounds on everything here, main bass right now is a modulus.) but when i get into effects i love filters, some nasty distortions, and of course chorus on a fretless. (edit: truth be told, when i get into effects on bass, i'll use all kinds of stuff. this track consists of only and 8 string and a boat load of effects.)

previously, when in need of distortions, i had just been using my bass pod XT, but when making metallurgy i thought it would be fun for me to tweak it for bass and give myself some new tones to work with.

btw, this track uses an 8 string run through the bass pod's distortion. the slap part uses the bass pod's overdrive too. i cant quite remember what presets i used though.
so I'll listen to it tonight and get back to you...
cool, let me know. i'd be curious to hear what you think. :) i've got a couple of fun envelope filter presets in there too.

ps. my apologies to neverexists for my drifting off the thread topic.
