Hi
I'm trying to modify Ohmboyz's Vibrato preset to produce a random modulation of pitch, but I'm recovering from food poisoning so I can't get my head around how it's doing it. So can someone please explain how a delay line produces vibrato?
Thnx
Garry.

Say you have a 10 ms delay and you want to change it to a 5 ms one. One way to "catch up" is to simply play thru the delay buffer faster.IE the pitch goes up. You do the same thing back to 10 ms by playing it slower.
Hey presto, a vibrato.
Hope it makes sense.

No.It has nothing to do with that.
Although it is a nice way visualize it.
