Yep, he's absolutely right. Breath control, developing a proper embouchure, all the development of oral cavity micromuscular control, the physical tinkering with the harmonica to make it play better, my 35 years of gigging experience and a lot of hard work are all just wasted effort - all you need to do is buy the instrument and breathe through it.
Even this simple train sound shows me it was done by a player who has some time invested in learning the harmonica. As a rebuttal to the gentleman's well-intentioned ignorance of the instrument, here is a link to a song of mine which uses absolutely *no* bent notes or any other tricks than breathing in and out but still manages to sneak in quotes from Gershwin and Tchaikovsky:
