SX3: what to do with pending connections?

Sometimes, when I've dismissed a VSTi from a Cubase project that I've saved earlier with the VSTi still in it, Cubase shows a popup with this VSTi as a 'pending connection' the next time I start the project. This popup keeps coming back evry time I start it. What can I do against that? It's a bit annoying.

It means that the midi track that you used to control the VSTi is still trying to access it. simply set that midi track output/input to something else and the error should disappear.
