is Zamp only mono? Because when playing back a stereo file both channels are the same...

Zamp is stereo but I just made some tests loading stereo waves and it does seem to sum them and play them back in mono. This may have to do with the SE module that is used.
If you load 2 mono files, you can pan them the way you want with the mixing grid. A solution would be to save each channel of your stereo file as a mono file and load each one in a different wavepalyer and then pan them.
I will forward this thread to Jack. R from Psychic Modulation who programmed Zamp and see what he says about it.

It's supposed to be stereo, but looking back at the internal architecture, I seemed to overlook a simple routing problem that turns the stereo signal to mono then back to stereo. A quick update should correct this, I'll try to fix it soon.fladd wrote:Hi,

Sorry about the late reply!
Jack told me that a Zamp update is int the works and filters will be added. Quad Zamp will be updated too and the next version number for both will be 1.5.

Just realised that I forgot 
to mention in this thread that the playback of stereo files has been fixed with Zamp 1.3 that was released on July 31st, 2006
