looking for a drum sampler software

hi all
i m HELL! looking for a sampler that supports :

-atleast 250bpm tempo ,
-atleast 30 tracks for samples
-read wave or raw samples ,
-have realtime effects ( compressor , reverb , EQ )
-suppots 32nd note and 8th,16th triplets
-has wav or raw export

have any suggestion ?

Not sure if it'll do everything you need - never used it myself - but people seem to like it.

Not everything, but most of the things on this list.

It goes up to at least 300, haven't checked for more.

-atleast 30 tracks for samples

Only 16 per engine, but you have 8 engines each can contain a different set of samples

-read wave or raw samples

Guru reads wavs, not sure about other formats.

-have realtime effects ( compressor , reverb , EQ )

Guru has those and many more.

-suppots 32nd note and 8th,16th triplets

At default, grid is set at 16 steps per bar, but with total of 4X32 step per pattern and the ability to use tempo multipliers, you can have much better resolution.
If that's not enough, the repeat and shift will sort you out.

-has wav or raw export

Sadly, Guru can't export audio yet.

Guru is an awesome one stop solution for drums, from programming (or recording) the pattern, choosing and processing the sounds to performing the finalized pattern. It's a super drum machine in the vain of Akai MPC.

If you don't mind programming the drum patterns in your host and rendering to get audio out, any reasonable multi-timbral sampler will probably do. My vote for such a sampler would be ShortCircuit, though I do not own it.
I do own Guru and love it. It has done wonders to my beat-programming skills.


You don't mention what your host is, but if you are in search for one FL Studio and Orion can probably do all what you want without any additional plugins.

thnx a lot , i already have fl studio , i don like it , and i couldnt work well with it yet , i used beatcraft before it was a real cool software with all i need but doesnt support more than 200bpm tempo and tempo changes ,
now lets give this guru a try thanks ...
but just one thing , u siad it doesnt support audio export ???
that s really bad , wat should i do ?

i donwloaded it , it seems ,it should be quite nice , but when i wanna start it , a message appears that says : cann t find ASIO driver , and nothin functionin in program wat s that for ?

I hope when you say downloaded, you're talking about the demo...

If you don't have an ASIO Driver, you can download one (legally) from www.asio4all.com -- however, a sound card that comes without an ASIO Driver is usually not a very good sound card

You have to be a bit more specific. What are you looking for? Just a sampler? A sampler with built-in sequencer? A new host?
Do you need samples? are you going to use your own? If so, are one shots, loops or multisamples?
What genre/ style these are intended for?
What is your budget? Guru is almighty, but cost around 250$. There are cheaper (even free) solutions, all depends on your exact needs and ability to spend.

ooo godd , i downloaded asio , but the Guru didn t work , i mean it plays my samples but there s no sound !!!
i exactly lookin for a sampler with built in sequencer , and i have my own samples ,i need to play multi samples , and no need to any loops , and very important thing is to support , atleast 250 bmp tempo , supports tempo changes , triolet ( triplet ) notes ,
my genre is death metal , and unfortunatly cuz of low budget we can t record drums , so i lookin for a sampler program ,
and cuz we live in iran we can t buy anythin online , so it s better if it s free ! , lol
plz somebody help
i think the worst thing bout guru is that it doesn t support triplet notes that s a very big problem , any idea plz ?
