anyone tried the PSP 608 multidelay?
Or does anyone else have any good suggestions of nice delay plugins?
I would one that is capable of the regular stuff (pingpong, bpm synced, 4/8/16 etc etc)
thanks!

we just had this thread here less than week a go. I suggest you use search.
and I also suggest you check out Urs More Feedback Machine, which happens to be free, but miles ahead the PSP expensive shit. Honestly, what was the point of ever releasing PSP 608 since there's MFM?

yeah, it's free. or donationware IIRC. Possibly one of the first ever plugins to do so, and I think the only crossplatform one from Urs.
(I seem to remember him moaning about no donations back then, then shortly moving to full time commercial development)

He was ahead of the time for sure.

)

Cheers,
Urs

Hehehe, sound's like you've been caught in an endless MFM delay loop for more than a year or so. Press Panic, I'm working crossplatform ever since Filterscape 1.1Kingston wrote:I think the only crossplatform one from Urs.

Well, I've somehow concentrated on magware for freebies... although... hmmm... we'll see...

If you're willing to spend money on one try ohmforce's ohmboyz delay - that bugger will do just about anything, very reasonable price & cpu hit also.

Go for the PSP Lexicon plugs. Those are great.
Stick with Ephonic's Retro Delay otherwise.
peace

i didn't try it a lot since i'm at work and i'm not supposed to do such things but will give it a deeper try at home ... and try to launch the results in some wavetable syntha little program which will convert an image in JPEG form into an audio file.
The idea here is based on the fact that the color for each pixel of a jpeg is represented by a 24 bit number. Much like web colors, each component of a pixel (Red, Green, and Blue) is stored with 8 bits, and has a maximum value of 255 (2^8=256). By using these three 8 bit colors together to create one 24 bit number, we can create a 24 bit audio sample with each pixel. Since we need 44,100 samples for each second of audio, most of the .wav files you'll create will be pretty short, unless you use a particularly large image.
