Looks very interesting indeed, as the original revalver (although a tad disappointing sound), was one of the first true native amp sims long time a go.

It's just that there is a serious lack of ampsim developers working on a truly MEGA-METAL tone (nu-metal, if you have to call it that) and that is the ONLY tone I'm after. Are you going to cater for us HEAVY bastards? hehe

Then sign up and make the difference. If you have a schematic or similar I can have a look at it perhaps we can make something happen.DaveSmom wrote:It's just that there is a serious lack of ampsim developers working on a truly MEGA-METAL tone (nu-metal, if you have to call it that) and that is the ONLY tone I'm after. Of course "regular" metal sounds will be abundant (as in any amp-sim) in RII, but it is that "extra" that need to be fine tuned.

Wow. Blast from the past. Seems awful late in the day to revive this old beastie, but I still use mine, so it'll be interesting to see what happens...
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

It's a whole brand new program. Mostly, only the concepts and name are the same.whyterabbyt wrote:Wow. Blast from the past. Seems awful late in the day to revive this old beastie, but I still use mine, so it'll be interesting to see what happens...

Well, to be honest, some of us old-timers have known of Revalver from back-in-the-day... Other ampsims have come and overshadowed it, sound-wise (in realism)
IMHO to make a success you need to, at the very least, equal your current competitors or better still, beat them. Thus, the need for a completely NEW look

Being partial as I am, I shouldn't say that it is already better than the competitors. ...but I am very confident. And so are the other testers.
