I have a Boss ME-50 multi-effects board that is mostly redundant since I got my PODxt. However, there is one effect that is useful, the Harmonist. This is like an 'intelligent' pitch-shifter, that you select the key and the interval you require and it gives you a harmony. Seeing as I want to sell the ME-50, I wondered if there was a VST out there that could do a similar function. Preferably free or cheap (i.e. much less than I'd get for the ME-50, otherwise pointless). I know there are some fancy 'intelligent harmonizers' out there, but the Boss is kind of rough and ready, and I like that, I just can't really justify keeping the ME-50 for one effect.
Any ideas?
VST like Boss Harmonist?

Well, it's a nice idea, but they cost something like £125! Seeing as I'm hoping to sell the ME-50 for about £140, I might as well keep it if that's my only option. It's not an effect I use all the time, I just wanted to be able to sell the ME-50 and still have access to a similar effect if I needed it. Maybe I'll just record harmonies manually!

We had a discussion about this last week.
the good news is that akai decabuddy is a 4 voice intelligent harmonizer vst
the bad news is they dont make it anymore.
