Many of you are familiar with Natural Studio's fantastic free acoustic drum kit (Natural Studio). In the past I had kit presets for DR-008, RMIV, VSampler, etc available on our home page but they've been down for a while..until now. you can download them again from our home page (left side, bottom)...look for NSKit7 Freebies.

Contents:
NSKit7_Free.fxb (Linplug's RMIV preset)
NSKit7.map (Cakewalk Drum map)
NSKit7_Free.txt (LM-4 file)
NSKit7_Free.dr8 (DR-008 preset)
NSKit7_Free.vs3 (VSampler preset)

Instructions:
Store the presets in the same folder that holds the folder with the NSKit7 samples.

Example: suppose you've stored the NSKit 7 Free samples on your D: drive in a folder called 'Presets' like this:

D:\Presets\ns_kit7freeWAV

The audio samples are found here (by default - you may have changed it):

D:\Presets\ns_kit7freeWAV\samples

Place the presets in the same folder as the 'samples' folder. In our example, it would look like this:

D:\Presets\ns_kit7freeWAV\samples
D:\Presets\ns_kit7freeWAV\NSKit7_Free.fxb
D:\Presets\ns_kit7freeWAV\NSKit7_Free.txt
and so on...

Don't store them with the samples! Store them one level up as described above.

Cakewalk users: Store the drum map along with your other drum maps. The location of this folder can be determined by opening Sonar and going to menu item 'Options' -> 'Global' -> and clicking on the 'Folders' tab.

Enjoy!
