Anyone know where I can find these ? I just need the eery sound of wind blowing for the intro of a song.

No links to farting-samples please, I can do those myself.

You can make the sound with a virtual analog synth that has a white noise oscillator. Play with the filter... That's how Steve Miller did the intro of "Wintertime"
I think daHornet can do it, but there should be loads of others.

Hey! I took all of my old samples down this year - they were primarily in the AudioShots site (old style site) and in the sample sections of the Auditorium - I removed totally the LargFile section at the Auditorium (separate issue entirely - I needed to get limits in place at the auditorium across the whole of it not just samples - the large file section hosted files that were typically over 100 MB in size and were getting direct linked = not cool, they also did not get much feedback compared with how many times they were downloaded (and they were downloaded a lot, goodness!)) anyhow - this all happened this year -

Actually the Spe3d.Com site is New its only gone up this year - and not only that I have a New site for commercial samples (currently awaiting its little re-fit

)

But first I need to replace the Now totally closed sample section that was in the Auditorium (I want to keep the Auditorum just for music really and put news and site stuff and samples in a new site … (I suggest the guys who I pm'd check their pm's

) … with a new better way to cope with samples, news and site related things … (though I wont be doing those friggin big sample packs anymore) … here http://audioshots.com - that's a very New makeover and lots to be done there Peter
