Typical trend:

Get popular with a product and you'll loose the neutral
professional attitude towards people where the level drops
to a simple "my plug is better than your plug because
everybody agree with me now so I can afford to be rude" behaviour.

Could the so called Companies around here maintain their
neutral professional approach please because when a "we"
company becomes a "me" company then it's not cool any more.

I think it reflects badly on both of you, so yes, call it a day, gentlemen.

(Not that the other thread was YOUR thread, Torben, and that's a VITAL difference)

ddummer, companies are neutral. But I'm not a company - I'm a so called 'DSP professional' named Aleksey Vaneev.

What you are suggesting here is a 'commercial silence' that does not allow customers to ask questions and request features.

The only way to settle what is the best is the age old question......does it do tarnce? :|

"What you are suggesting here is a 'commercial silence' that does not allow customers to ask questions and request features."

"commercial silence" is a good way to put it.
Let the customers choose without any silly remarks from
the developers about their own and others products (silence)
so the final pick is based on the (commercial) info alone.

Any other remarks will just backfire in terms of over all
view of the company.

Questions and requests is not a part of the "commercial silence"

If only Apple would follow suit. :P

ddummer, but customers are no DSP developers - they may not know *how* to compare, and *what* to listen to, and what to ask.

It is no wonder some people regret their purchase without testing the product thoroughly first. This applies to all products, of course, in all industries, but if some guidance was given, test usually becomes simpler.
