needs testing, its not finished 100% and i know its not as great as it could be ..but i need to make a big document about it, what i need essentially is to know what other operating systems/hosts it runs in other than WindowsXP/Cubase SX

it takes a voiced beat as input from a microphone or whatever.. you chose a sample and it plays it instead of your voice..

please let me know what your experiences are

yea sorry.. was in a bit of a rush.. beat replacer, you input a beat "boom boom boom buh boom" and it analyzes pitch and volume and reflect that in the sample playback

please please test and tell me where and when it works.. so i can write about it in my report

I tried it out in EnergyXT. It crashes if you send a signal into it before loading a sample.

Other:
I sent a drumloop into it as my input signal, with a kickdrum as my loaded sample. I also fed the drumloop direct into the output. I noticed the detection you use has a noticeable delay, making it a pain to use practically. I also noticed that if I left my loop going long enough, the detection would occasionally mis a beat, or do a double beat. I guess that could be avoided if there was a way of tweaking the detection.

The actual pitch detection and such seemed to work ok, minus the delay ofc.

..before its finalized i plan to add sliders for the important algorithm parameters

i wonder why theres delay.. in cubase on my pc it seems to work fine, are you using a slowish machine?
