How to do a "bouncy delay" ?

Don't actually know this delay but in general modulating delays creates 'zipper noise' or crackles.
There are fixes for this but it is never really 100 %perfect over large moves (at present). Just make your moves as smooth as possible or automate the volume to 0 and back after the offending pop.

It just dawned on me that what you were after is a modulated delay which choruses as it delays. They are less common on the ground (so to speak) but I make a rather super one in the Orange Collection and soon to be revamped as Time in my Synth Studio Pack early June

You can often mask these kind of 'pops' with a spectral processor which can 'smear' transients. I used to use Spectral Monkeyage for this all the time.kroe wrote:I was trying the bram's bouncy delay, but when i do some automations the audio "pops"...
Do someone know a manual tech. to do this?
Thanks in advice.

I like delays that dont crackle when changing speed but the delays will go high/low in pitch in accordance with the speed. Like on a lot of hardware.

Dubstation by Audio Damage is good for this. It's a lot of fun when you assign midi cc's to it's controls.funkadil wrote:I like delays that dont crackle when changing speed but the delays will go high/low in pitch in accordance with the speed. Like on a lot of hardware.

Arcane Device's EchoTank ET-200 is wonderful as well. I tend to use it more than my real tape delay (except for live use).
