I am using Cubase SX3. I am using Glitch as an insert effect on one track. When I play the track in Cubase, it sounds fine, but when I do an audio mixdown of that track all I get is a file with total silence. Can anyone suggest some fixes? Is there something I may be doing wrong? Thanks.

The best way is to talk with the developer. Send him a mail with your problem, be sure to be nice and to describe a way to reproduce the error easily.

Interesting problem, RolandFan. I don't have direct access to SX3 myself but I will ask a couple of my friends to try and duplicate the problem. Perhaps some kind KvR users who are reading this could also give it a try?

I bounced down a bunch of glitched tracks last night (sx 3.1.1, glitch 1.3.01). Only thing I can suggest is that you ensure you are bouncing down the right channel(s).

same here - sx2.

last night, at first the bounce was silent - turned out the 2nd pair of output channels was selected in the mixdown dialog (never had that happen before).

Fixed! Turns out you have to click off the track's "record enable" button. Never noticed that before.

Glad to hear you got it working :)

Is this record enable button something which is always on by default? If so then I will include a little mention of it in the Glitch documentation.

A track's "record enable" button is by default automatically turned on when you select that track. That default can be turned off by going to the "File...Preferences...Editing...Enable Record on Selected Track." Maybe everyone already knew that, but I am a new Cubase user, so it was news to me.

Great plugin, btw. I have used it extensively on my newest track.

I can bounce glitch just fine with record enabled on. But that's cubase for you...

I tried to use both Glitch and Stretch in Reaper v1,37, and i only can hear sound when i play the loop many times.
At the first reading of the clip (which is chort, i use it on a break only, and not on a full lenght's track), i hear nothing, and at mixdown there is only silence...
argh
