Does anyone have any hints or rumors on what we might expect with live6?

they said it will be release in the third quarter of 06, that's right around the corner. I haven't seen anything about what might be included in an update.

Typically they have been doing July, August and Sept Releases. So it's getting kinda close.

Ableton usually gives decent value for the money. The last two updates were outstanding in terms of functionality and new plugins. I have to imagine that the new update will be more than a tweak.
I think about Live as a renter not a buyer. I am renting it for ten dollars a month, and they update the property pretty regularly.

at the same time its one of those apps that you could be completely satisfied with at whatever it's current status would be,for instance there are lots of folks who swear by and use Live version 3.0, only ... some cats only use 4.0 and such...
so i don't pay to much mind to those complaining about the upgrades, they're always phenomenal and you don't have to upgrade if you don't want to.

Dual core support (done right) is all I really care about. They could put that one update in alone and I'd pay for it.
