Rewire - Reason hardware interface, only one stereo channel?

When using rewire for Reason and Cubase, I have mainly connected all devices (in reason) to the mixer - and then to the stereo channel in the hardware interface.

I want to use FX from Cubase on each seperate device, which works fine when connecting them to seperate channels in the Reason interface. However, only one channel is in stereo.. and since I play around alot with panning etc., I would like to know if theres a way to send stereo from each seperate device in Reason. Thanks.

Also, a stupid question - I have forgotten how to add an Input/Output track in the Cubase sequencer!!

Unless my memory fails me, I think you have to (on the back by pressing tab) manually patch each of the particular devices from your mixer to a separate channel in your hardware interface. I implemented this well within Live 5 but am relatively new to Cubase. The next part (routing the input within Reason), I'm not so sure about but I was going to figure that out this evening.

there are 64 outs, 1 is a stereo pair, you must manually patch a stereo pair beyond the 1st, but it does allow some flexibility, and there is no rule that every instrument will need to be stereo.

Yup, I know.. It's not really a problem, except when instruments/sounds in Reason use alot of panning. Then again, the job can be done with VSTs in Cubase.

What i do is pass each(R-L) signal to Cubase seperately, pan them accordingly 100% left and right from the cubase mixer and then put them in a group track to apply effects and stuff(like panning).
IMPORTANT: Don't forget to lower each channel's volume by 6db(or 3db) in the Cubase mixer as passing two seperate signals from Reason to Cubase causes the overall signal level to go up
