Is there a way to grab all the velocities in the piano roll and lower or raise them all simultaneously?

automating the volume is a bitch if im not done with a track yet, and going in and trying to lower each note with the same ratio is overly tedious.

i just want a certain pattern lowered. all of the notes in that pattern would benefit if i could turn them all down yet maintain their ratio.

you can edit the channel volume as well in the piano roll. Just right click in the lower left area and select the channel volume.

but of course, for multisamples, it would be nice to edit all the velocities at once.

1. Select the notes that you want (or none of them to adjust all of them).
2. Tools Menu (Piano Roll window)
3. Scale Levels (or use Alt+X)
4. Use the "Offset" dial to adjust velocities together.
As an addition, you can play around with "Multiply" and "Tension" to 'compress' the velocities as well.
