Hi,
Got a quick question...
Does ST2 allow you to map out a drum kit (of .wav files) and then let you "mute" one of those sounds when another one is triggered? Like when you have to cut off the trail of an open hi hat when a closed one is played?
Thanks, all, and sorry if this is obvious...

I don't do my drums in ST2.1, so I'm not certain, but I believe you will find the following:
1) "choke" groups can't be created on ST2.1 like they can on some drum-specific sequencers,
2) You may be able to create chokes (high hat tracks are probably the most obvious for this) by setting the poliphony to 1 note, which should do the same thing as a choke when the next note is triggered.
If I'm wrong about either or both of the above, I apologize in advance, but then again, the beauty of this board is that the info you need will be along sooner or later...usually when Squids gets back from lunch...
Cheers.
