Hi
I am fairly new to sampling so i would appreciate with some help please. I own a Kord es mk2 sampler and i know how to sample but i would like to know how to make the vocals in the sample sound more prominet and the instruments more quiter, is this possible?
also i can import them to a computer via smartmedia so editing on a computer is no fuss.

hhmm i am not an expert, but i would say:
voice presence is from 2 to 4kHz ... so maybe take a multiband compressor
and compress that part of the spectrum! an take down the rest a few dB...
or take a singleband compressor that can filter the "compressor-controlling-amplitude"
for example voxengo's marquis compressor
