A local public school system had a bunch of supposedly 'obsolete' musical instruments that had been in a storage locker at one of its facilities. Needing room, they decided to discard them. An employee (an engineer of my acquaintance) thinking this a rather strange thing to do, asked if he might take them home instead. This was agreed upon.
The instruments included:
A Hohner Clavinet (needing new pads, but otherwise pristine)
A Yamaha CS-15
About 400$ worth of midi and audio cables
and a beautiful 22 inch chinese gong.
These are all now in our studio.
And so, as a sacrifice to the gods of good fortune, here are 5 long decay samples of said gong.
Check out the cool low end warbling.
You can find them on the download page at our site at realmusicmedia.com Where you will also find other cool new free things.
