Wow ... just auditioned the demo :o

I never knew delays could be this creative without sounding stupid 8)

The presets are so interesting.

I guess $109 isn't too bad an asking price, though I don't have it in my back pocket today.

Anyone else tried this beastie yet?

i know i love it, without even trying it.

I'm impressed especially with the subtle modulation with "phase" setting. Cross feedback feature is nice too. Also, CPU friendly as they claim.

I wish the frequency of the modulation could be more extreme(fast) though.

The price is not bad for a quality fx but still too expensive for an impulse buy, so I'm deciding.
If only they offer a discount for existing customers(I own R66).

I Think I'll end up creating by own litlle Sonic Flavours suite. So far they all soud really nice, low CPU loads and reasonably priced. :tu:

Downloaded the demo and i'm starting to like this a lot ...

I like the way you can type in any delay value in milliseconds. It amazes me how many VST delays don't let you do this, and it's essential for some effects (especially haas effects). The modulation is nice too. And no dongle/pace/CR stupitity.

DP5?

Hmmm. You think of what Retro delay does for $0 and the differences here for $109. That's a very steep price for a delay with a few decent features, but nothing extraordinary...

I love the sound of DP5. The tape distortion sounds really good. This is the best sounding delay I know.
But the interface is not very well designed, starting from the default patch it takes a lot of clicking to set up a simple PingPong Delay. Choosing a more "neutral" setting as default would have helped.
Is there a hot key to tweak left and right channels feedback or X-feedback at once?
Also I miss internal modulation possibilities, why not build 2-3 LFOS + midi triggerable envelopes, envelope followers... in this thing?

Maybe this sounded a little harsh. To be clear I have and I love DP5. The sound is perfect. But there is still room for improvement on the usability side of things...

Unles there is somthing I am doing wrong, DP5 is unusable in FL because of its plugin latency! I am hearing almost a 1-second long latency.

You need to adjust the wet / dry setting if you are using it as an insert.

DP5? First I've heard of it. And I love delays.

Hmmmm...thanks for the heads-up. I must go and d/l the demo forthwith - if not sooner.
