Hi,

Been going thru my archives, and found couple of discs full of great samples - in .aiff :( is there a (free  little tight right now) program that could convert these to wav to be used in projects?

Audacity opens them, but due to the amount of samples I'd prefer batch operation.

thanks for tips,

.jon

cheers,

I've never tried the betas, looks like there are other interesting features coming up - I'll try if I can get it to work.

Goldwave - the shareware version is nag-ware, uncrippled, and does good batch conversion-

I think Wavepad should do the job. (freeware & fast)
You also can apply normalizing or envelopes and all this stuff. And you can choose your files in explorer -> right mouse -> "batch convert with wavepad".

yes, the freeware wave pad allows batch conversion for 14 or 30 days or something like that- then it is only a feature of the payware version. Good for a one off job though.
