This is on its way to be mastered. I'm gonna bring the vocals forward just a bit (they're a little too quiet). I'd appreciate any feedback on this one:

Drums could afford to be more prominant, maybe in the highs, just needs a bit of eq going on...

I've been spending more time on mastering and Reason 3 has been a massive help (good compressors at last).
Thanks for the tip on the Drum EQ's.
I've started writing stuff that is more rocky now (ie.e beck, gomez influenced). Starting a band has alos been a bit of a help. I'm writing with a four-piece in mind now, rather than just layering up with a million synths . . .
My http://realmusic.co.nz/memorial site has more of the accoustic/ rock stuff. Have a listen it's all mostly 1 minute sample tracks there.

Oh right. I haven't had hardly any contact with that crowd. . . I think I had one track played about a year ago . . . Need to pursue them a bit more perhaps.
My guitar player is kinda chummy with Mr Havoc, might send him a demo, but I'm always waiting until it's perfect before I send it, which never happens

Nice track! I love the U2-esque 16th note layered instruments. Great atmosphere in this song, reminds me of lots of fave British acts! I really like this song. My recommendations:
Those drums gotta go. Are those the Reason Factory Sound Bank drums? They just aren't cutting at all. You'd be either better off without them or getting a better soundonft collection or something. Or at least send those samples through Scream, EQ and a compressor. Is this all in Reason?
They could use a bit more depth in programming too, like I'm hearing just a kick and snare at one point? Sounds like the "drummer" would be more "excited" in real life, bashing on some toms, or 16th notes on the hats or ride.
Vocal can come up more, especially in the more filled-out sections.
The mix sounds a little boxy, could definitely use some air on the mix, but I think it sounds like something a masterer could deal with. I would love to hear better, brighter drums though, before you submit it for final mastering...
Anyway, great tune! Good job. I'd be most interested to hear more. Another KVR find!

The drums are the Reason kits. I actually only put them in as a 'guide' for my drummer, hence they are way too basic (my drummer is very energetic). I'm not sure what I will do for the recorded version, but as it stands they are inadequate.
Vocals will be brought forward, point already noted by others.
I've got some other material at http://www.realmusic.co.nz/memorial
It's mostly just 1 minute samples but the range is fairly diverse if you have time to listen.
Thanks again for the input. Much appreciated.

has what I call a British sound.Good tune.
I would like the vocals bigger and wider, which would give it more of an anthem feel, but that might be just me,see what others think.
choice.

wicked tune...
guitars & vox are nice... as are the delays/fx etc... the percussive thing behind the guitar is nicely stated too
agree with what everyone else says regarding the guide drums - a real drummer could make this a killer!
i feel like the mix is a little soft - maybe needs to be hotter... some valve magic perhapps?
i'd buy your record!
