Oh and It could function like firium's (the REAL 1 BLUE 1 :) ) matching feature.. expect of course it would just work with the formant..

i might be waaaay off the mark here, but have you tried...

..a vocoder?? :p ;)

mda talkbox should do the trick. never got into that impulse-driven fft stuff but if you want a static formant, they ought to work as well...

Ok yes a vocoder kinda works but I need a really good 1.. Anyone know of a good vococder with perhaps an adsr like feature an eq and support for 32bit.. I DONT CARE HOW MUCH $$ IT COSTS!! LET ME KNOW!!

exactly.. eg. in typical use, a vocoder use applies the formant of a vocal signal to a sawtooth waveform ;)

there's plenty of high quality vocoder products, try the search engine :) probably some free ones too.. mda's talkbox sounds to me like an fft process, but i think it might be ~128 or 192 bands instead of 256.. dunno.. only one i've tried in a while.

afa envelopes, try using the automation function of your host.

and don't throw your money around man, it makes me cry :)
