Looks like another brilliant piece of work from those whack Frenchmen...

Did you catch this?
Just sum up the pitch : topmodern* stereo distortion.

Oh YES, at last, predatohm is indispensable but now there is going to be a stereo multiband distortion, there is a god, and he works in france, and says "bof" to all other plugins.... :D :D

Post

How's it part of the Melohman concept though - I can't see a keyboard octave thingy?

edit - forget it - top right corner - snuck that one in :)

I dont think its a fake, as such, its just the UI for the in-progress version, and just not the final UI.

It would be nice if the real GUI was something that that one, 'cos it's perrdy.

What is missing is masses of LFOs. I want LFOs! Lots of 'em! :D

I can't tell how you guys will like the final skin (cause it's far from over yet) but the opinion of the latest journalist who have seen it was something like "it looks more expensive"... It will not be thus. But I can tell we are putting a lot of efforts on it.

About LFO, we have sticked on our predatohm principle, which is to keep it away from modulation. I understand this can be frustrating and I am sure some of you guys will have some via the host or the melohman octave. But I am sure you understand how a modulation stage directly in the GUI would immediately affects the overall user experience, wether you use it or not. One of the thing we absolutely wanted was to keep it as simple as possible. Ohmicide:Melohman will be our easiest plug since four or five years, and that's really pleasant for us.

Post

Thanks Red_Force for the confirmation.

It's shame there won't any LFO's, as I've been waiting for a while for a plug like this with some. You do realise that you have spoilt us in the past with LFOs.

It sounds like it's going to be great, and personally I am happy with no LFOs here - sometimes you can have too many options. ;)

Red_Force, time to ask a question you probably expected: will there be a cross-grade discount for predatohm users? :)
